As with all our Nurseries, Bingham Day Nursery operates an ‘Open Door’ policy and we constantly encourage parents/carers to feel that they can communicate freely with our qualified team members.
The Nursery, in accordance with Ofsted recommendations, has detailed Policies and Procedures in place to cover all eventualities, some of which are displayed on the main notice boards in both buildings, the remainder are contained within our Operational Plan, a copy of which is available in all the rooms.
Older rooms hold regular ‘Open Evenings’ to give parents/carers an opportunity to discuss their child’s achievements with staff. Notice boards in each room display menus and activities for the day, and parents will often be presented with an artistic masterpiece to take home at the end of the session.
We welcome your interest, whether it is finding out ‘what sort of day we have had’, or helping to support topic work within the rooms.
Parents speak very highly of the setting. They are extremely well informed about the setting and their child's learning. Managers are good at passing on ideas and lending resources for activities parents can do with their children at home.
